Shihan Allan Acosta, born in Brooklyn, New York started his martial arts journey at the age of 5 under Grandmaster Lou Ferrer ( Shihan Lou Ferrer at that time ) In the art of Aiki jitsu-te which is a combination of Judo, Jujitsu, Karate,Aikido and Arnis and is a life member of the U.S.Kodokan Federation. While training for 28 years, Shihan Allan has done numerous demonstration and Competition throughout NYC and the tri-state area. At the age of 17, Shihan Allan has achieved his Black belt and is now the chief Instructor of the U.S. Kodokan Headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. Shihan Allan has joined Shihan Jackie ( known as Sensei Jackie ) C.A.R.E LLC in 2009 as an instructor to teach martial arts program at PS 221 for the summer of that year. In 2013, Shihan Allan became a main instructor for martial arts under C.A.R.E LLC and has taught at many schools throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC current,past and present schools:

Shihan Allan’s goal with SAFE LLC is to give back to his community a skillset that students can take and use for their rest of their lives, and to ensures that every participant not only learns but also embodies the principles of determination, hard work, and courage, vital for personal growth and success.
